Welcoming Freshers to Sacred Heart Senior High: A New Chapter Begins


The vibrant energy on the campus of Sacred Heart Senior High School was unmistakable as the school warmly welcomed its newest members during a two-day orientation program held from Tuesday, 19th November, 2024.


The event, carefully organized by the school’s management, was spearheaded by the Assistant Headmaster Academic, Mr. Assuming Samuel, in collaboration with the Guidance and Counseling Unit. The aim was to ease the transition of first-year students into high school life, helping them feel at home and empowered to begin their academic journey with confidence.


Representatives from various departments took turns to explain the different academic programmes offered by the school. They also walked students through the rules and regulations as outlined in the school brochure, shedding light on their purpose and importance in shaping a successful and disciplined student life.


A key highlight of the orientation was a heartfelt address by Madam Emelia Frimpong Kyeremeh, Chairperson of the Guidance and Counselling Unit. She reminded students that their success depends largely on their commitment and the effort they put into their studies. “The onus of realizing your potential lies with you,” she said, urging students to make the most of their time at Sacred Heart. She also encouraged them to reach out to the Guidance and Counselling Unit whenever they need support or advice.


As the new academic year begins, Sacred Heart Senior High School remains committed to providing a nurturing environment where every student can grow, explore, and achieve excellence.

Sacred Heart Senior High School held a formal inauguration ceremony on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, to welcome its newly constituted Board of Governors. The event took place at the school’s Conference Room, drawing key stakeholders from the educational and religious communities. The new board is chaired by  Rev. Fr. Dr. Peter Yaw Oppong Kumi , Founder and CEO of Pax Garments Ltd, Sunyani, and also Board Chair of Caritas Sunyani. Sahess Students Hike to Sunyani Soldiers' Barracks: A Lesson in Strength and Service

On August 10th, 2024, a spirited group of students from Sacred Heart Senior High School, participating in the Head of State Awards Scheme (HOSA), set out on a unique hiking adventure to the Soldiers' Barracks in Sunyani. Led by their coordinators—Madam Emelia Frimpong Kyeremeh, Mr. Gideon A. Affah, and Mr. Christian Aduhene Adomako—the trip was designed not just for physical challenge, but for character building and team spirit. Joining the expedition was the school’s health team, accompanied by their master Mr. Addai Issac, who ensured that all necessary medical precautions were in place throughout the hike.
