Gospel Rock Show & Candlelight Possession: A Night of Light, Praise, and Power
On Sunday, May 25th, 2025, students of Sacred Heart Senior High School gathered to experience one of the most spiritually impactful moments of SRC Week 2025 — a day marked by faith, family, and fellowship.
The morning began with our usual Sunday Mass, hosted in the dining hall. The homily reminded us of the importance of leadership rooted in service, setting the tone for what followed — the official launch of the SRC's flagship projects, which include exciting student-led initiatives aimed at improving campus life and infrastructure.
Later in the day, the campus came alive with warmth and joy as students welcomed their families during Visiting Hours (1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.). Smiles, laughter, and heartfelt reunions were seen across campus as loved ones reconnected.
As the sun began to set, the atmosphere shifted to one of reflection and reverence. Dressed in symbolic white attire, students adorned themselves with candles, signifying peace and spiritual illumination. The Candlelight Procession began at 6:30 p.m., with students walking in solemn unison from the school entrance to the dining hall, accompanied by soft worship melodies and prayer.
But the night did not end there. The dining hall was soon transformed into a stage for the Gospel Rock Session — a spirited celebration of praise and worship that shook the very walls of the school. Headlining the event was none other than Minister Ramzy, whose electrifying performance brought students to their feet in powerful worship and celebration.
From quiet reflection to uncontainable joy, the night was a perfect blend of spiritual depth and celebration — a reminder of the light we carry as individuals and as a community.
