The Grand Durbar & Funfair – A Spectacular Climax

Saturday, May 31st, 2025, marked the grand finale of the SAHESS SRC Week Celebration 2025 — a day filled with color, culture, music, and memorable unity.

The day began with an official Grand Durbar, welcoming sister schools including Wenchi Methodist SHS, St. James Seminary SHS, Presby SHS, Sunyani SHS, Berekum SHS and many others. Dignitaries, staff, and students gathered under one roof to celebrate our collective commitment to leadership, creativity, and tradition.

Symbolic exchanges between schools

Following the formalities, the grounds transformed into a lively Funfair with booths for games, local snacks, art, music, and cultural exhibitions. The joy of friendship and the spirit of youth were on full display as students mingled, played, and created lasting memories.

In the course of the celebration, selected students from participating schools were taken on a guided tour, showcasing important cultural and academic landmarks. 

The celebration reached its peak with a special performance by the  guest artist, Darko Vibes, who mesmerized the crowd with his dynamic show.

From traditional unity to modern creativity, May 31st was a perfect crescendo to a week of cultural brilliance.

Sacred Heart Senior High School Inaugurates New Board of Governors

Sacred Heart Senior High School held a formal inauguration ceremony on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, to welcome its newly constituted Board of Governors. The event took place at the school’s Conference Room, drawing key stakeholders from the educational and religious communities. The new board is chaired by  Rev. Fr. Dr. Peter Yaw Oppong Kumi , Founder and CEO of Pax Garments Ltd, Sunyani, and also Board Chair of Caritas Sunyani. His leadership is expected to bring a blend of entrepreneurial insight and deep commitment to service. In his inaugural remarks, Rev. Fr. Sahess Students Hike to Sunyani Soldiers' Barracks: A Lesson in Strength and Service

On August 10th, 2024, a spirited group of students from Sacred Heart Senior High School, participating in the Head of State Awards Scheme (HOSA), set out on a unique hiking adventure to the Soldiers' Barracks in Sunyani. Led by their coordinators—Madam Emelia Frimpong Kyeremeh, Mr. Gideon A. Affah, and Mr. Christian Aduhene Adomako—the trip was designed not just for physical challenge, but for character building and team spirit. Joining the expedition was the school’s health team, accompanied by their master Mr. Addai Issac, who ensured that all necessary medical precautions were in place throughout the hike. The trail to the barracks tested the students’ endurance, encouraging them to push beyond their limits while working together and supporting one another.
