Sacred Heart SHS Inaugurates Central Planning Committee for Golden Jubilee Celebration
Sacred Heart Senior High School, Nsoatre, on 19th March 2026, inaugurated its Central Planning Committee at the School’s Conference Room to oversee preparations for the school’s forthcoming Golden Jubilee celebration.
The ceremony, held during a Board meeting, commenced with a welcome address by Rev. Fr. Peter Oppong-Kumi, the Bishop’s Representative and Board Chairman, who underscored the importance of dedication and collaboration in ensuring a successful anniversary celebration.
The Headmistress, Rev. Sr. Benedicta Uzokwe, formally introduced the members of the committee and outlined their roles and responsibilities. The programme also featured the administration of the oath of office and the presentation of the committee’s Terms of Reference.
The Central Planning Committee is composed of the following members: Rev. Sr. Benedicta Uzokwe (Headmistress), Mr. Samuel Yaw Asuming (Assistant Head, Academic), Rev. Sr. Rose Naatuu (Assistant Head, Administration), Mad. Emelia Frimpong Kyeremeh, Mr. Isaac Boakye Berko, Mr. Leonard Nuokpenibe, Mad. Victoria Amoah-Konama, Mr. Isaac Amoabaeng (Accountant), Mr. Ampaabeng Kyeremeh, Mad. Sarah Yeboah, Mrs. Rose Margaret Siaw, Mr. James Adefrah (PTA Chairman), Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim (PTA Chairman’s Representative), Rev. Fr. Peter Oppong-Kumi (Board Chairman/Bishop’s Representative), Sr. Judith Magbity/Josephine Agboso (HHCJ Provincial Superior’s Representative), Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Adongo (School Chaplain), Dr. Jacob Kor, Mad. Naa Ayeley, Mad. Lamisi Mbawini, Evans Boakye Appiah, Mad. Charity Maazure, Mr. Sefah Aboagye, and Mr. Kumah Isaac.
The event concluded with a closing prayer led by Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Adongo, the School Chaplain, who committed the committee’s work into God’s hands.
The inauguration marks a significant milestone in the school’s preparations to celebrate 50 years of excellence and dedicated service in education.
